What makes SnapLock table pads different?
​
SnapLock table pads are custom made for the size and shape of your table. They are built from solid protective board, precision machine cut for an accurate fit and available with concealed magnetic locks that help keep the pad sections together without exposed hardware.

Do your table pads protect against heat, scratches and spills?
​
Yes. SnapLock table pads are made to protect your table from everyday damage, including scratches, spills, stains, dents and accidental household heat sources up to 550°F.

Are the magnetic locks exposed?
​
No. The magnetic locks are concealed inside the pad sections. There is no bulky exposed hardware to come loose, fall off, break or scratch your table.

Can you make pads for unusual tables?
​
Yes. We can make pads for round, oval, rectangular, square, rounded-corner, curved and unusual table shapes. If your table is unusual, call us before ordering so we can help you get the measurements right.

Ordering and Measurements
What information do you need to make my table pads?
​
We need your table width and length, the number of extension leaves, the size of each leaf, your table shape, your top color, your bottom color and any special instructions. Measurements should be to the nearest 1/16 inch.

Do I need a pattern?
​
Usually not. Many tables can be made from your measurements or from patterns already on file. Round tables and tables with pointed 90° corners do not need a pattern. Some curved, rounded-corner or unusual tables may need a corner pattern or half-table pattern.

How do I make a pattern if one is needed?
​
Lay the pattern paper over half of the table and weight it down so it does not move. Use the side of a crayon or pencil to trace the top-flat surface of the table. Do not trace the beveled edge. Do not use ink or markers and do not cut out the pattern.
​
What if my table has straight sides and rounded corners?
​
In most cases, you only need to take a photo from straight above one corner. Let us know which is the side and end, and put a ruler or another object with a common size so we can resize your photo.

Can I change my order after submitting measurements?
​
Possibly, but only if production has not started. Once the pad has been cut, changes are not guaranteed.

Production, Shipping and Delivery
​
How long does it take to receive my table pads?
​
Production times vary depending on order volume, materials and season. Average production time is 4-6 weeks. If you need your table pads sooner, let us know you need your table pads rushed.

Do you guarantee delivery dates?
​
If your order has a paid rush, we guarantee delivery time. Otherwise, you will normally receive your order in about 4-6 weeks.
What if my order arrives damaged?
​
Contact us within 48 hours. Send photos of the packaging and the damaged area so we can review the shipment and tell you the next step.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

How does the 30-day money-back guarantee work?
​
If you are not satisfied with your table pads within 30 days of delivery, you may return them for a full refund of the purchase price.
​
Do you pay for return shipping?
​
If you decide to return your table pads, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
​
Why do you offer a 30-day guarantee on a custom product?
​
Because we are confident you'll love the product. Custom table pads are normally difficult to return because they are made for one specific table, but we want customers to feel comfortable ordering.

Warranty Questions
What does the lifetime workmanship guarantee cover?
​
The lifetime workmanship guarantee covers defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover normal wear, customer measurement errors, misuse or damage outside the terms of the guarantee.

What is the No-Fault Lifetime Warranty?
​
The No-Fault Lifetime Warranty is an optional add-on for customers who want extra protection. If your covered table pad is damaged, we repair or remake the affected section according to the warranty terms.
​
Does the No-Fault Lifetime Warranty cover shipping?
We pay the cost of shipping the repaired or remade section or sections back to you.
​
How do I file a warranty claim?
​
Call us or email us photos and a short description of the issue. We will review the claim and tell you the next step.
​
Color, Fit and Materials
Will the color match what I see on my screen?
Colors shown on screen are approximate. Actual colors may vary slightly because screens, lighting and printed samples can all display color slightly differently.

Can I choose the top and bottom colors?
​
Yes. You choose both the top color and the bottom color.
​
Will the pads fit my table exactly?
Your table pads will fit your table pattern and measurements within 3/16" (3/32" on each side).

What if my measurements are wrong?
​
If something looks inconsistent or unusual, we will contact you before production. It is very easy for us to notice when something doesn't look right, and we call or email to make sure it's correct.

Do you make pads for furniture other than dining tables?
​
Yes. We make custom pads for buffets, coffee tables, sideboards, desks, pianos, vanities, glass-top furniture and other items.

Do you sell pad storage bags?
​
Yes. Pad storage bags help keep your table pads clean and protected while they are put away.
​
Do you sell leaf storage bags?
​
Yes. Leaf storage bags help protect wooden extension leaves while they are in storage.

Policies and Legal
Why are returns limited on custom products?
​
Every table pad is made specifically for one customer’s table. Once production begins, the materials cannot usually be reused for another customer.
