Making a Pattern Is Easy

Corner Pattern Only

1. Line up the edge of the pattern paper with the split in the center of the table. If the paper isn’t big enough, tape extra newspaper or wrapping paper to it.

2. Put heavy objects or books on the pattern paper, so it doesn’t move.

3. Using the side of a crayon or pencil, trace the top-flat surface of the table (not the beveled edge). Do not use ink or markers!

4. If the sides and ends are straight, just trace one corner on a normal sheet of paper. Label both the side and end of the table as shown.

  • You should trace with the side of the crayon or pencil, not the tip. (The paper around the crayon will need to be peeled back first.)

  • Do not cut out the pattern.

  • You don’t need to trace if your table is round or if it has pointed 90° corners.

  • Write your table and leaf measurements on the pattern and order form (to the nearest 1/16”). Don’t include the beveled edge.
